Prashant Malani’s journey began in 1989 alongside his long-time friend and business partner, Anil Bodkhe. After completing his engineering in Production from JNEC in 1994, he went on to pursue an MBA in Finance, combining technical expertise with financial acumen. Prashant started his professional career as a Trainee Engineer in the Water Purifier Division at Aurangabad Motors. In 1997, with a strong entrepreneurial drive, he laid the foundation of the Praneel Group by acquiring a lathe machine and initiating small-scale production activities. His vision and dedication have been instrumental in the group’s steady growth and expansion over the years.

Anil Bodkhe, a Production Engineering graduate from JNEC in 1994, began his career as a Tool Room Trainee Engineer at Aurangabad Electrical Plant 3. In 1997, he joined Shobha Engineering as a Manager, where he gained comprehensive experience in both manufacturing and marketing, evolving into a well-rounded techno-commercial professional. In 2002, he took the entrepreneurial leap and joined Prashant Malani full-time to expand their operations into a full-fledged tool room. His hands-on expertise and strategic thinking have been key to the technical and operational excellence of the Praneel Group.
